Terms of Service

By accessing or using Strategy Bender at strategybender.cloud ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the Platform.

Strategy Bender is an algorithmic trading platform that provides:

• Strategy building tools for options and equity trading
• Backtesting engine using historical market data (NIFTY, BANKNIFTY, etc.)
• Paper trading simulation with real-time market data
• Broker integration for executing trades (when available)
• Strategy management, sharing, and performance analytics
• Market analysis tools (Option Chain, OI Visualizer, Greeks, etc.)

You must sign in using Google OAuth to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Google account. You agree to provide accurate information and to update it as necessary.

You may not create multiple accounts, share your account with others, or use the Platform for any purpose that violates applicable laws.

All backtest results are based on historical data and do not guarantee future performance. Past performance is not indicative of future results. Trading in derivatives and securities involves substantial risk of loss.

You are solely responsible for your own trading decisions. Strategy Bender, its operators, and its affiliates shall not be liable for any financial losses incurred through the use of this Platform.

While we strive to provide accurate backtesting results, you acknowledge that:

• Backtest results are simulations and may not reflect actual trading conditions
• Historical data may contain gaps, errors, or inconsistencies
• Slippage, transaction costs, and market impact are estimated, not exact
• Execution prices in live trading may differ from backtest fills
• Market conditions change, and strategies that worked historically may not work in the future

When you connect a broker account to Strategy Bender:

• You authorize us to access your broker account via API for the features you enable
• You are responsible for any trades executed through the Platform
• You may revoke broker access at any time through the Broker Connections page
• We store broker API tokens securely and never store your broker login credentials
• Strategy Bender is not responsible for broker downtime, API failures, or order execution issues

The Platform, including its design, code, algorithms, and content, is the intellectual property of Strategy Bender. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the Platform.

Strategies you create on the Platform remain your intellectual property. By using the sharing feature, you grant other users a non-exclusive license to view and use shared strategies for their own backtesting purposes.

You agree not to:

• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Platform or other users' accounts
• Use the Platform to manipulate markets or engage in illegal trading practices
• Overload the Platform with excessive API calls or automated requests
• Scrape, crawl, or extract data from the Platform without permission
• Use the Platform in any manner that could damage, disable, or impair the service
• Resell or redistribute access to the Platform

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the Platform. We may perform maintenance, updates, or modifications that temporarily affect service availability. We are not liable for any losses resulting from service interruptions.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Strategy Bender and its operators shall not be liable for:

• Any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Financial losses from trading decisions based on backtest results
• Loss of data, profits, or business opportunities
• Damages arising from unauthorized access to your account
• Any issues arising from third-party broker integrations

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if you violate these Terms, engage in abusive behavior, or use the Platform in a manner that harms other users or the service.

You may delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately. We may retain certain data as required by law or for legitimate business purposes.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India.

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated terms on this page. Your continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
